Inspired by the many questions I'm receiving on how to cope with the lock-down, I am sharing simple steps that can help you deal with this situation.

Here we go:

🔴 Limit exposure to news. Checking the news only keeps us anxious and scared. Just try to avoid the news and check-in once a day to stay updated.

🔴Don't dwell on the things you can’t control. Do NOT imagine the worst-case scenarios. Instead, envision the best and focus on the things you CAN control such as your day's schedule and meal-planning. One example would be to establish a routine to give your days some comforting structure.

🔴Reach out for help and support from those you trust. I would suggest close friends and family. Also, many entrepreneurs are now creating an online support group with experts to help people stay positive and develop healthy ways to cope with stress. Follow them!

🔴Engage in self-care! Eat well, meditate, do those exercises that you keep saving, take that online course you always wanted to attend, or even better, just binge-watch your favorite series!

🔴Develop or learn new skills. Make use of your extra time and hop on online courses, do some coloring, cooking or baking!

🔴Reflect on your past successes. Give yourself credit for all the amazing things you've created and accomplished. By doing so, you'll be inspired again to create new stuff.

Uncertainty is a reality for all of us and no matter how much we plan, we are always bound to experience some uncertainty. But instead of panicking, let's learn how to accept it and handle it in a way that reduces our stress in the best possible way.
